October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which has become an annual campaign, nationally to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer on people everywhere.
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Holy Cross Hospital hosts events and fundraisers to ‘Paint Taos Pink!’ throughout the month of October.
The 2020 pandemic resulted in many people postponing regular check ups and appointments with their health care providers, and in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month Holy Cross is reminding everyone that early detection saves lives and Holy Cross Hospital now has a state-of-the-art 3D mammography machine that offers the best breast cancer detection in Northern New Mexico. Learn more about these mammography services right here in Taos.
This year in lieu of their usual live auction, Jeannie Ross at Cancer Support Services said, “We felt it would be safer and more effective to host our silent auction over the weekend at an easy and spacious venue.”
Join them Oct. 22-24 at the Stables Gallery from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Sunday. Browse and bid on local arts and crafts. All proceeds will go to benefit Holy Cross Cancer Support Services in Taos.
