Red River Brewing Company and Distillery won top awards from the 2021 American Distilling Institute (ADI) including Best of Class for vodka.

The ADI is a prominent craft distilling association that hosts annual competitions and awards for top distilled spirits and also craft-blended spirits. The Best of Class award is identified by a panel of ADI judges. Other spirits judged for the category include whiskey, rum, vodka, gin, liqueur, and more.

The company’s Silver King Vodka won the award, along with a Double Gold Medal award and Best of Category.

“We’re just thrilled to be recognized like this.  This means a lot to our business, our community, and to New Mexico.  I’m so proud of everyone who has worked so hard to get us here,”  said Sharon Calhoun, co-owner of Red River Brewing Company and Distillery in a press release.

The company attributes the victory of their Silver King Vodka to their use of Red River mountain water.

In addition, they took home bronze medals for their Mallette Bros. Gin, Purkapile Rum, and Cabresto Cañon Agave Spirit.

The company also said they plan to expand operations by building a second distilling facility in the near future.
