Two-vehicle car crash reported in Taos Ski Valley


At least three people were involved in a two-vehicle car crash in Taos Ski Valley Saturday afternoon (Oct. 21), according to reports from Taos Central Dispatch.

The incident took place in the area "just before the resort," a dispatcher said. Medical units were en-route as of 1:45 p.m., and Careflight has been placed on standby.

Reports indicate that there were at least three people involved in the crash – a man, who was bleeding from the head, a child, believed to be uninjured, and a third individual, for which there were no descriptors or condition reports.

Initially, dispatchers said that one of the individuals had been pinned by a vehicle, which was revised, when a bystander reported that all three crash victims had been pulled to safety.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
