Town brief: Master gardening class begins soon

Whether you are a beginner or have been gardening for years, learn more about gardening in the Taos County high desert through a master gardening class. The classes will cover plant selection, xeriscaping, turf, pest management, home vegetable and fruit production, pruning and more. The cost of the 13-week class is $125.

Classes are held on Wednesdays of each week at Juan I. Gonzales Memorial Agricultural Center on 202 Chamisa Road. The program will start on Feb. 13. Classes are 9 a.m. until noon. Reserve your seat before the Friday, Feb. 8 registration deadline.
