Posted

Three vehicles collided on Paseo del Pueblo Sur near the main thoroughfare's intersection with Paseo del Cañon in Taos Saturday afternoon (June 6), but none of the people involved in the crash suffered serious injuries, according to Taos Police Department.

After the crash was reported around noon, Taos Police officers and a Taos County Sheriff's sergeant were helping to control a heavy flow of traffic in the southbound lane of Paseo. Meanwhile, Taos firefighters swept up broken glass and metal from the accident. One of the vehicles involved, a white truck, had flipped over on its side in the far-right lane. The other two had come to rest near the center lane.

Ronald Montez, a sergeant with Taos Police who was on the scene, said that none of the vehicle's occupants suffered serious injuries.

A local tow truck operator hauled the vehicles away from the scene and first responders had  also cleared away by 12:45 p.m., according to  reports overheard on Taos Central Dispatch.
