Thanks to Holy Cross Hospital

Posted 11/7/19

My name is Melissa Martinez and my husband, Richard, and I reside in Taos. In October I had a health scare which required my admission to Holy Cross Hospital. It was very unfortunate that the medical episode was life-threatening and I was close to death. Thanks to the great staff of the facility, I am here today to express my gratitude to these individuals for saving my life.

Thank you to the emergency room doctors and nurses, the ICU staff and Dr. Steven Lucero. They also did a great job helping Richard and my family stay informed and as calm as could be possible when you have a family member who is as close to death as I was. These words are only a small expression of how grateful we are to have this facility to help all the people of Taos get the emergency care that sometimes is needed when life-threatening episodes such as ours occur.

Thank you once again for all your great care and for saving my life. I would not be here today had it not been their care and God - whose wondrous love is abundant and good.
