Horoscope insights for the week of Aug. 29-Sept. 4, 2019

Posted

August’s Virgo New Moon takes place Friday (Aug. 30). Jupiter can be found a bit west of due south at sunset and Saturn can be located slightly east of due south at sunset during the last few nights in August. No planets are visible in the morning or early dawn this week or throughout the month of September. Happy birthday, Virgo – and everyone have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Recognition and applause are not the Virgo’s motive for dedication, but a loved one may be boasting to others just how much this earth sign has done for them. Resourceful ideas have great potential for creating. Take credit, especially where credit is due.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

It’s all about finishing and completing projects this week for the Libra. Focus, persistence and endurance will have to be put into overdrive for victorious results. Best advice: step-by-step instructions or communications may be needed to harvest desired goals.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Volunteering and community interests highlight this water sign’s social scene, but if romantic pursuits are the motive, conclusions may yield mixed signals. However, extra efforts at the workplace have the Scorpion scoring points, if the cards are played right.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Clever ways to increase personal revenue prove the hot topic for this fire sign. A passive income could flourish with greater returns than expected. The Archer may need to bite her tongue when it comes to a career requirement or authority figure’s personal demands.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Research, higher education or learning a new skill could bring beneficial financial returns for the Capricorn this week. Added responsibilities increase earning potentials. Balancing work and fun-fulfilling adventures (with a child or partner) may prove to be a challenge.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Hidden subconscious issues might surface this week for the Aquarius. Simple solutions could come from corrective criticism if they are not taken too personally. Best course of action: keep an objective mindset to help ride out some of the emotional whirlwinds.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Major changes may be in order for the Pisces. When it comes to a personal relationship, the Fish may feel torn with thoughts of raising the bar for expectations. Excuses can only go so far. Best advice: avoid the emotional trap of making comparisons and devising guilt that hides the facts.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Areas of home, health and pet might have the Ram a little jumpy this week. Panicking will only evade obvious resolutions. Excessive behaviors and indulgences could lead to costly damages. Best advice: exercise situation awareness and acknowledge details.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Production is motivated from creativity and inspiration. Use it to influence family, children and romance this week. Now would not be the time for the Taurus to be blunt or use forceful tactics. Sensitivity and compassion will gain the Bull extra Brownie points.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

The Twins are popping with energy and vitality this week. If those forces are used constructively, much can be accomplished. Land, property and domestic improvements should make the priority list. A well-organized game plan can help insure success for the dynamic duo.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Communications, information and how it is perceived will have this water sign’s mind tossing and turning this week. Careful, Crab, reading into matters too deeply creates unnecessary emotional tidal waves. Best advice would be to ebb and flow with data’s tide.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

The king of the jungle will be on the hunt for efficient ways to maintain order in daily tasks and commitments. Keep in mind that convenience usually comes with a price and budgets create limitations. Best course of action: keep it simple, Big Cat.
