The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from Sept. 4-9.

Sept. 4

9 a.m. Larceny, Mariposa Plaza – A caller said she had video footage of a woman stealing a painting and walking out of her store with it.

9:24 a.m. Juvenile problem, Taos High School – A caller said her daughter was suspended for three days because other students were threatening her.

1:25 p.m. Shots fired, Taos Plaza – A caller said a man shot a rifle into the ground and then left in a beat-up black vehicle.

2:42 p.m. Theft of motor vehicle, Calle de Oro – A caller said that his dark blue 2000 Subaru Outback was just stolen. He said he had gone out to his car and left his keys inside of it while he went back in his house for a minute. When he came back, he said the car was gone.

8:05 p.m. Information report, Los Pandos Road – A caller said her landlord has been hiring shady people.

Sept. 5

12:39 a.m. Loitering, La Fonda Hotel – A caller said some vehicles were outside the Gorge Bar and Grill blasting music. The caller said there had been several complaints already.

11:50 a.m. Fraud-forgery, Mariposa Apartments – A caller said a caregiver with AAA Home Health Care took her card and used up all of the money on it, a total of $521.31.

3:01 p.m. Shoplifting, Walgreens – A caller said that a woman had stolen from the store, but a responding officer said she had receipts for everything she had purchased.

4:29 p.m. Welfare check, Paseo del Cañon East – A caller said a 4-year-old child was crossing the street by himself.

5:34 p.m. Citizen assist, Taos Middle School – A caller said her car got stuck in pothole and she needed help getting it out.

9:27 p.m. Law, unknown problem, Walgreens – A caller said someone threw a glass bottle out into the street.

10:53 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Camino de la Serna – A caller said two vehicles were in the area and one of the drivers was waving a gun.

Sept. 6

5:11 a.m. Welfare check, Morada Lane – A caller said that a woman near the Mabel Dodge Lujan House said she was being stalked by a man.

7:21 a.m. Domestic disturbance, Hunan Chinese Restaurant – A caller said a man and a woman were screaming at each other near the bushes in the back parking lot.

8:39 a.m. Welfare check, Salazar Road – A caller said a man was stuck in a manhole.

10:56 a.m. Fraud-forgery, Mariposa Plaza – A caller said she had obtained bank statements that prove she had been defrauded.

4:02 p.m. Seizure or convulsion, Juan Largo Lane – A caller said he had had a seizure and would walk to Smith’s to meet with medics.

5:04 p.m. Fraud-forgery, Guadalupe Credit Union – A caller said that her daughter and her friends had tried to cash a check they stole from her.

5:24 p.m. Unresponsive, Tewa Street – A caller said first responders administered Narcan to an unresponsive woman, who regained consciousness and then walked away.

9:47 p.m. Burglary residential, Acoma Street – A caller said someone was trying to break into their home.

Sept. 7

12:56 p.m. Battery, Municipal parking lot – A fight was in progress in the parking lot.

1:55 p.m. Harassment, Smith’s – A man said a driver in a black Subaru had threatened to shoot him.

3:07 p.m. Harassment, Mariposa Apartments – A caller said a woman was harassing a 15-year-old boy, calling him names and threatening to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

4:57 p.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Salazar Road – A caller said a red Chevy ran off the road into an arroyo.

9:35 p.m. Missing juvenile, DreamTree Project – A caller said there were tensions building between two individuals, one of whom had a .22-caliber firearm.

Sept. 8

8:38 p.m. Animal bite, Holy Cross Medical Center – A caller said a 13-year-old boy was in the waiting room waiting to be treated for a dog bite.

11:35 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Taos Mesa Brewing Taproom – A caller said a man was denied a beer at the bar and was still on the property.

11:44 p.m. Animal noise, Montoya Street – A caller said her neighbors’ dogs were barking during quiet hours.

Sept. 9

2:44 p.m. Larceny, Maria Elena Lupe road – A caller said some items were taken from her residence. She was missing some tiles to be used for her bathroom, a heater and some supplies for a fence.

5:04 p.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Camino de la Placita – A caller said there was an accident involving four vehicles.

10:44 p.m. Harassment, Camino de la Merced – A caller said that her ex was stalking her and was just outside her window.
