The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from May 29-June 2.

May 29

12:14 a.m. Public indecency, Taos Post Office, 318 Paseo del Pueblo Norte – A caller said there were two homeless people having sex in the post office.

6:26 a.m. Disturbing the peace, Taos Men’s Shelter – A caller said there was a man at the shelter who was asked to leave but was refusing.

8:58 a.m. Juvenile problem, Salazar Road – A caller said they found a 14-year-old male who was reported missing last night but was refusing to cooperate.

2:54 p.m. Animal stray, Habitat for Humanity – A caller said a puppy was darting in and out of the roadway.

6:34 p.m. Traffic accident, injury, Camino de la Placita – A caller said a driver in a grey Toyota Tundra had hit a tree.

6:47 p.m. Shots fired, Salazar Road – A caller said she heard a single gunshot and then saw a Toyota Tundra drive off.

May 30

5:28 a.m. Welfare check, Paseo del Pueblo Norte – A caller said there were two men who were highly intoxicated in the pool area.

10:41 a.m. Sex offense adult, Community Against Violence – A caller wanted to report sexual harassment in the store that involved employees and customers.

May 31

11:09 a.m. Sick person, Siler Road – A caller who was seven months pregnant was in a lot of pain, throwing up and feeling dizzy.

3:58 p.m. Welfare check, Gusdorf Place – A caller said there were several kids who had been left alone at a residence and that they are frequently left unsupervised.

4:31 p.m. Welfare check, Cielo Azul – A caller said a woman was feeling suicidal and homicidal, like she was going to kill herself and her kids.

6:33 p.m. Shots fired, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – A caller said three boys were running and one of them had shot a gun.

6:52 p.m. Information report, Albertsons – A caller said a man in a truck was masturbating.

June 1

1:16 p.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Albertsons – A caller said there had been a car accident. One of the vehicles had started leaking radiator fluid.

1:32 p.m. Breaking and entering, Paseo del Cañon West – A caller said there some people attempting to pick a lock to a residence behind The Potter’s House.

5:16 p.m. Criminal damage, Classic Impressions – A caller said that it looked like someone had shot out the windows to the store with a BB gun.

11:45 p.m. Harassment, Gil’s Barber Shop – A caller said a man kept knocking on his doors and windows.

June 2

3:29 a.m. Domestic disturbance, Kit Carson Road – A caller said that his girlfriend had hit him.

9:06 a.m. Animal noise, Este Es Road – A caller said there were two houses and a dog at one of them barks all day long.

11:22 a.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Tewa Street – A caller said a driver in a green Subaru rear-ended their BMW and then drove off.

3:17 p.m. Assault, Dea Lane – A caller said they had been assaulted by a man carrying a black handgun.

3:41 p.m. Criminal damage, Paseo del Cañon – A caller said some damage had been done to the front door of the church. It looked like someone had been trying to break in.

6:30 p.m. Welfare check, Gusdorf Road – A caller said there was a guy waving a sword in the air as cars passed by.
