The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from April 24 - April 28.

April 24

7:27 a.m. Criminal damage, Roberts Lane - Someone threw a rock through a window.

3:12 p.m. Larceny, Albertsons - A man stole some bottles and was walking north away from the store.

7:53 p.m. Wildland fire, 575 Sports and Co. – Caller said there were some cars driving fast out of the area and it looked like there was a fire.

10:35 p.m. Suspicious package, Vegas de Taos – Caller said they received a suspicious package in the mail.

April 25

8:18 a.m. Narcotics offense, Taos High School – A student was caught with edibles.

1:20 p.m. Animal stray, Salazar Road – Caller is asking for a trap to catch a Chihuahua in the area.

2:15 p.m. Shoplifting, Super Save – A man in a black shirt stole some items then entered a black Dodge Ram truck and drove off south.

2:41 p.m. Larceny, Kit Carson Road – Someone stole the battery out of a truck after vandalizing the vehicle the night before.

3:12 p.m. Larceny, Don Fernando – Caller said a red Ford truck stole two Kokopeli statues.

April 26

12:05 a.m. Suspicious circumstances, Smith’s – Caller said they were about to leave and a dark green SUV was in the parking lot.

9:53 a.m. Assault, Camino de la Placita – Caller wanted to report their student had been hit by a therapist.

10:55 a.m. Theft of a motor vehicle, Albertsons – Caller said they returned from shopping and their black Toyota Highlander was gone.

11:09 a.m. Property found, Not Forgotten Outreach – Someone left a purse and ID at the location.

4:17 p.m. Fraud, IHOP – Caller said two intoxicated males walked out on their bill.

5:07 p.m. Residential burglary, Gusdorf Road – Caller said his windows were broken out and he was afraid to go inside the house.

9:53 p.m. Theft of a motor vehicle, Paseo del Pueblo Sur - Caller said a man stole their keys and blue Pontiac Venture.

11:38 p.m. Shots fired, Weimer Road – Caller said they heard two shots in the area.

April 27

2:45 a.m. Domestic disturbance, Taos Valley Lodge – Caller said they heard fighting in room 164 and tried to contact the people in the room.

9:33 a.m. Trespassing, El Camino Lodge – Some people in room 164 were refusing to leave and had drugs.

11:51 a.m. Suspicious circumstances, Taos Middle School – A teen in a black hoodie and orange hair was jumping the fence by the buses.

9:28 p.m. Animal bite, Morada Lane – A woman was bitten by a dog.

11:57 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Otono Road – A man had some people over and was having a loud party for two days.

April 28

5:22 a.m. Juvenile problem, DreamTree – Caller said someone had two underage girls in their room.

6:28 a.m. Domestic disturbance, Camino de la Merced – Caller said their ex broke into the residence with a crowbar and stared threatening the caller.

12:33 p.m. Shoplifting, Paseo del Pueblo – Caller said a man walked out of the store with a basket full of merchandise.

5:12 p.m. Lockout, Orca Carwash – A two-year-old locked himself in the car.

6:10 p.m. Unknown problem, Taos County Detention Center – Caller said they found contraband.

6:29 p.m. Reckless driver, Taos Plaza – Caller said vehicles were driving around Taos Plaza at 100 miles per hour.

7:31 p.m. Information, Martyrs – Someone found a hat with drugs inside of it.
