Taos News video sneak peek – June 15-21, 2017

First up in the news, we take a look at the ongoing issue of domestic violence in our county. While state agencies say the number of affected homes has fallen over the years, residents in our community agree there is still much more work to be done. And, a 71-year-old kayaker drowned Sunday afternoon after their kayak capsized in the waters of the Río Grande near Pilar. And it was all about town improvement at the Strong at Heart meeting at Sagebrush Inn & Suites Monday night. Also in the news, Reporter Cody Hooks brings us as look at an idea to transform the Taos County Juvenile Detention Center into a live-in treatment center for young people. Look for these and many other stories in tomorrow's June 15-21 issue of The Taos News.
