Taos Cow looks for greener pastures

Posted

A Taos County legacy may be put on hold for a while as owners of Arroyo Seco based Taos Cow seek a new location.

Locals and visitors have raved for years about Taos Cow, a one-stop ice cream, coffee, breakfast and lunch spot located in the middle of Arroyo Seco. According to a recent notice posted on the location’s door, Taos Cow will close the current location on March 25.

Citing “irreconcilable” differences with their landlord, the eatery will be searching for a new location and hopes to return to serving Taos customers by spring.

Taos Cow has endured 25 years in the Arroyo Seco location service ice cream made of all natural ingredients. The restaurant has served as a meeting spot for community members and those passing through.
