Taos County will be limiting its business operations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, officials announced Tuesday (March 24).
According to a statement from Taos County officials, county office hours at the county complex on Albright Street will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The west and east sides of the county complex will be locked and limited to employees with badge access only.
Visitors will be required to utilize the north-side main entrance double doors facing the courtyard and will be directed to the front-desk clerk to be asked a series of questions to ascertain exposure risk.
Any nonessential businesss is discouraged.
All visitation with detainees at the Taos County Detention Center is suspended until April 6.
