Posted

Patrick Larkin, a longtime Taos resident and owner of World Cup Café, has gone missing, according to an employee at the business and posts on social media.

While the employee declined to provide their name or other details about Larkin's disappearance, a Facebook post that began circulating this week states that Larkin was last seen at his home in Llano Quemado Monday night (Aug. 26).

New Mexico State Police and Taos Search and Rescue were still searching for a missing person as of Wednesday afternoon (Aug. 28), although authorities have not yet confirmed the person they are searching for is Larkin.

State police were utilizing a helicopter to assist in the search on Wednesday, according to Dominic Martinez, Director at Taos Central Dispatch.

To provide information about Larkin's whereabouts or the circumstances of his disappearance, contact state police at (505) 425-6771. Dial 0 to speak with a dispatcher.
