After its first year with flights to Texas, Taos Air has added southern California to its list of destinations for visitors and Taoseños alike. This new reach for the airline will take fliers to and from Hawthorne Municipal Airport in Los Angeles and McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad.
“Taos is fortunate to welcome many visitors from Southern California and we are very excited to help them make the trip quicker and easier,” said Mayor Dan Barrone in a release. “We are so pleased Taos Air continues to grow and provide door-to-door flights for people who want to experience Taos.”
Taos Air will also be flying customers to and from Austin–Bergstrom International and Dallas Love Field airports from Taos.
Taos Air flights will run from Jan. 9 through March 29 for the California service and start at rates of $160 to Texas and $180 to California, both one way.
Flights leave every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday to and from their destinations.
According to the town of Taos, Taos Air brought in over $2 million in economic impact for Taos County during its inaugural season.
