Strong at Heart meets Wednesday

As the next phase for the Strong at Heart initiative to restore the downtown district in Taos continues, the organization is calling for a community meeting to gather input on priorities and needs for the downtown area.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 Wednesday (March 28) at UNM's Bataan Hall and will provide free food and drinks to those in attendance. Strong at Heart will give community members a chance to gather together and ultimately build a better downtown for Taos.

Strong at Heart has taken the past year to gather information from Taoseños via pop up events and community meetings. The process has moved through phases to reach an agreement for the betterment of Taos' downtown area and those those that use it. Values, cultures and activities of those present at the meetings were all taken into consideration when building the next steps in the program.
