The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Taos area as more snow is in the forecast for the evening.

Snow is expected to continue into Thursday (Nov. 21) night after less than an inch fell in the area during the day.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Taos area as more snow is in the forecast for the evening. Snow is expected to continue into Thursday (Nov. 21) night after less than an inch fell in the area during the day. According to the National Weather Service, a winter weather advisory will remain in effect for the Taos area until 6 p.m. Thursday. During the day on Thursday, a few inches of snow fell in the mountains and about 3 inches accumulated in the Arroyo Seco area. More snow is expected to fall in the evening hours with up to 2 inches possible for the Taos area. Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 40 degrees on Thursday and 35 degrees on Friday. By Saturday the clouds should be clearing with a sunny high of 44 degrees.
