Taos Swim Club to host Turkey Trot

On Nov. 23 - the Saturday before Thanksgiving Day - the Taos Swim Club will host its eighth annual Turkey Trot at the Taos Youth and Family Center, 407 Paseo del Cañón East. The race is a 5K run or walk course, and participants of all ages can compete in the event.

The race will start and end at the Taos Youth and Family Center and, along the way, will travel west past the roundabout, then past the hospital on Weimer Road and will follow a trail that parallels Paseo del Cañón.

For early registration - which runs through Saturday (Nov. 16) - the fee to participate is just $25. But after that date and through race day, the registration fee will be bumped up to $35. For children up to the age of 12, the fee is $10.
