After a weekend full of festivities, Habitat for Humanity hosted the She Nailed It! Competition at their current home site on Saturday (May 6) in Taos. Participants loaded giant adobe bricks into wheelbarrows and sprinted to different stations around the lot, including a nailing station, a sawing station and an adobe brick making station. The event was the culmination of the Women Build Week, that asks women to dedicate one day of their week to help families build strength, stability and independence through housing.
