Roads around the county are icy and snow packed. Light snow fall will continue through Friday morning, with a few more inches possible in the mountains, especially along western slopes, according to the National Weather Service in Albuquerque. Then the skies are expected to clear, but the temperatures will hover around the mid-30s or below in Taos County.
Mora schools and the magistrate court are on a two-hour delay.
Many Santa Fe and Española schools, courts and state offices are on a two-hour delay.
According to a Taos Ski Valley tweet, TSV received "15" in the last 24 hours and over 18" in the last 48 hours" and will open Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving Day).
Red River opens November 27, Pajarito opens Nov. 29 and Angel Fire opens Dec. 13.
Sipapu Ski Resort reports nine inches of new snow and is open.
