Passed away 12/25/2016, was born in Kingston, NY to Eric and Elizabeth Stange. She grew up on their dairy farm and then earned a sociology degree at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY. She married Jonathan Craig and moved with him to Ketchikan, Alaska and then Taos. After their divorce, she stayed in Taos and raised their two sons, Aaron and Joel. Sandy was a master gardener, did fine beadwork, painted watercolors and studied writing. She worked in
galleries in Taos, became a seamstress and enjoyed working for the U.S. Census.
She was a very proud grandmother to Iona (deceased), Zhenko and Ansel and is survived by them as well as her sons. The family of Sandy Craig would like to invite friends to a celebration of her life on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Taos Public Library.
