Police examine Holly White’s phone, computer records

It’s a mystery that still haunts family members and the many Taos residents who knew her. Theories regarding what might have happened – and her whereabouts – run the gamut.

In the meantime, New Mexico State Police are searching Taos resident Holly Alcott White’s cell phone and computer records. White was the former general manager of the Taos Center for the Arts and has been missing since May 6. Her vehicle was found abandoned at the Río Grande Gorge Bridge. She is a missing person, and the case has never been a criminal investigation.

New Mexico State Police sent White’s computer and her cell phone to a computer analyst. The analyst sent the results obtained so far to Lt. Edwardo Martinez, who heads up the Taos headquarters of the state police.

“She had many friends she spoke with online,” Martinez said, adding that her retrieved phone and email records show in-state and out-of-state communication with people she met online.

State police say they’ve also been working with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to see if she flew on any international flights. “None were found,” Martinez said. State police are also looking at domestic flight information for any potential clues.
