The following is a condensed version of Taos Police Department reports from April 11-16.

April 11

12:55 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, El Gamal - A man appeared to be throwing chairs around near the restaurant.

9:27 a.m. Criminal damage, Adobe Road - The caller said the doors and windows at a foreclosed property in the area were kicked in.

11:53 a.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Camino del Medio - The caller said a black car went off the roadway and knocked over a fire hydrant.

12:55 p.m. Warrant, Kit Carson Road - Law enforcement was at an address serving a warrant.

2:14 p.m. Information report, Kit Carson Park - The caller said that a street light fell and hit his car.

3:30 p.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Camino de la Merced - The caller said that someone had hit some wooden power poles and lines were on the ground.

6:25 p.m. Criminal damage, Salazar Road - The caller said that someone had hit the wall in front of his house.

6:50 p.m. Warrant, Sun God Lodge - Law enforcement was serving warrants at the motel.

7:36 p.m. Warrant, La Lomita Road - Law enforcement was at another location serving a warrant. An officer requested dispatch run a serial number on a Smith & Wesson AR-15.

8:27 p.m. Warrant, Sagebrush Inn - The caller said that a vehicle had been following her through town trying to crash into her and run her off the roadway.

April 12

3:02 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Albright Street - The caller said that some people may have been smoking crack around a gray Toyota Tacoma in a parking lot.

8:40 a.m. Welfare check, The Gorge Bar & Grill - A man in a red shirt on the bar's patio appeared as if he was going to jump.

10:12 a.m. Breaking and entering, Hatchery Road - The caller said his home had been broken into.

10:50 a.m. Child abuse or neglect, Taos Youth & Family Center - A 5-month-old child had been left alone inside a silver Subaru.

12:46 p.m. Theft of motor vehicle, Sun God Lodge - The caller said his vehicle had been stolen on Monday from Walmart. He found it parked across the street at the Sun God Lodge.

2:04 p.m. Welfare check, Kit Carson Park - The caller said that a woman was passed out on the stage at the park.

5:57 p.m. Criminal damage, Adobe Road - The caller said someone had broken the windows to his residence earlier in the day.

6:33 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Ace Hardware, 223 Paseo del Pueblo Sur - The caller said they saw a man loading things into a Big 5 shopping cart after hours.

7:42 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Sierra Vista Cemetery - A black backpack full of needles was hanging on a post on the north side of the cemetery.

8:16 p.m. Welfare check, Taos Post Office - The caller said a man was asleep inside the post office.

8:38 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Martyrs Steakhouse - A man on crutches was yelling and kicking at cars passing by on the roadway.

10:21 p.m. Harassment, Kachina Lodge - A man wearing a black trench coat, a dress and a green beanie was harassing customers and refusing to leave.

April 13

12:08 p.m. Warrant, Sun God Lodge - Law enforcement was engaged in a foot pursuit at Sun God Lodge.

1:09 p.m. Animal stray, Civic Plaza Drive - The caller said a large dead cat was on the side of the road.

2:34 p.m. Law, unknown problem, Sierra Vista Cemetery - A backpack full of needles was near the cemetery.

3:55 p.m. Domestic disturbance, Santistevan Road - The caller said that her daughter was hitting her.

5:42 p.m. Shoplifting, Albertsons - A woman driving a red vehicle stole a bottle of alcohol and then fled.

5:54 p.m. Welfare check, Indian Hills Inn - The caller had requested a welfare check on a 12-13-year-old child living with a family at the inn. They were unsure how the family was meeting food requirements or if the child was attending school.

8:25 p.m. Warrant, Albertsons - A man had been arrested for stealing liquor.

11:24 p.m. Criminal damage, Kachina Lodge - An intoxicated woman was breaking things.

April 14

10:30 a.m. Law, unknown problem, Sun God Lodge - The owner of the hotel was requesting a call back about what had been going on at the hotel.

12:03 p.m. Information report, Sun God Lodge - The caller said that a woman appeared to have overdosed in a room she had broken into. Needles were all over the room.

1:57 p.m. Civil standby, Mariposa Apartments - The caller said the managers of Mariposa Apartments were outside harassing him and others cleaning up the ditches. They had removed mattresses and other items, but the managers stated that the items were not from the apartment complex.

5:11 p.m. Unattended death, Hill Drive - A man was lying in the yard face down. No one else was around. The caller didn't know how long he had been there and noted that a small jug of orange juice and a tarp were beside him.

9:21 p.m. Theft of motor vehicle, Calle Crystal - The caller said that a vehicle had been stolen from her driveway.

April 15

2:28 a.m. Domestic disturbance, Kachina Lodge - The caller said that her boyfriend had beaten her up over an hour ago.
