The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from Jan. 1-6.

Jan. 1

12:16 a.m. Disturbing the peace, Calle de Oro - A caller said that her neighbor was making a lot of noise outside.

1:09 a.m. Law unknown problem, Allsup's, 507 Paseo del Pueblo Norte - An officer said he was in a foot pursuit with a woman who had pulled a knife on him.

9:23 a.m. Traffic stop, Taos Urgent Care - An officer had pulled over a silver Tahoe that had its license plate covered.

10:41 a.m. Criminal damage, Burch Street - A caller said a woman came to his house and damaged the fender on his vehicle.

3:51 p.m. Theft of motor vehicle, Albright Street - A caller said she believed that her son's 2003 Dodge Durango had been stolen. She said she saw someone driving it near La Loma Street.

Jan. 2

3:07 a.m. Harassment, Trujillo Lane - A caller said that another woman had threatened to kill her, saying that she "and her homies" were on the way.

10:27 a.m. Assault, Martinez Lane - A caller from Alan Maestas Law Office said that someone had pulled a gun on her son.

10:49 a.m. Animal bite, Taos Urgent Care - A caller said he had been bitten by a dog on his leg. He said the dog was still loose in the area where he was bitten.

11:34 a.m. Criminal damage, Engel & Völkers Realty - A caller said that the windows to their business were shot out on New Year's Eve.

4:14 p.m. Breaking and entering, Cordoba Lane - A caller said that people had been breaking into her home and taking stuff.

7:52 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Gusdorf Road - A caller said someone had broken her window a few weeks ago.

Jan. 3

11:42 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Gusdorf Road - A caller said that a man trying to get money from him was at his door. He suspected he was armed.

2:33 p.m. Welfare check, Hatchery Road - A caller said that a man in a brown jacket was in the middle of the road with his legs in the air.

4:15 p.m. Assault, Smith's - A caller said that a female was hitting her mother and yelling at her.

6:46 p.m. Welfare check, Gutters - A caller said that a man with a dog waved down medics to say he had been assaulted. He had some blood on his face and was given a ride to Taos Men's Shelter.

Jan. 4

5:02 a.m. Shots fired, Wendy's - A caller said that some shots were fired between Wendy's and Mante's.

4:24 p.m. Traffic accident, injury, Sonic - A caller said a woman had become stuck inside a vehicle after it crashed with another vehicle. Taos Fire was dispatched to the scene to help open one of the doors to help the woman get out.

8:23 p.m. Shoplifting, Big 5 - A caller said two women stole some boots from the store and fled in a vehicle.

Jan. 5

1:48 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Taos Plaza - A caller said a man in a green sweater was walking around the plaza with a large knife.

7:32 p.m. Loitering, The Alley Cantina - A caller said a young man was being a nuisance, yelling and threatening people.
