The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from Dec. 4-9.

Dec. 4

10:04 a.m. Animal stray, Taos Police Department - A caller said a pack of four dogs was running toward Cid's.

4 p.m. Criminal damage, Paseo del Pueblo Sur - A caller from Enterprise Rental in Taos said two of their vehicles had been broken into and damaged last night.

6:10 p.m. Welfare check, Ranchitos Housing - A caller said there was a man on the ground near the second entrance.

7:53 p.m. Shoplifting, Bealls - A caller said a there was a surveillance footage of a shoplifter who walked out of the store with multiple stolen items.

9:31 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Paseo del Cañón - A caller said someone driving a blue Ford Escape had been following her all over town ever since she left church at Potter's House.

Dec. 5

7:21 a.m. Larceny, Gusdorf Road - A caller said her son took all her money last night and was refusing to give it back.

4:04 p.m. Larceny, Morgan Road - A caller said she came back home to find her black Saab parked differently with mud all over. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle. She said this is an ongoing issue.

6:40 p.m. Shoplifting, Vape Taos - A caller said someone stole some items from the store earlier in the afternoon.

Dec. 6

8:34 a.m. Animal stray, Lower Las Colonias Road - A caller wanted to speak with an animal control officer about taking some dogs that belong to her neighbor.

8:53 a.m. Animal stray, Leroux Road - A caller said that his dog was missing. He was unsure if it ran away or if someone had stolen it.

1:40 p.m. Breaking and entering, Quesnel Street - A caller said she wanted to press charges against a man who broke into her house earlier in the week.

8:07 p.m. Larceny, Paseo del Pueblo Sur - A caller said a woman with pink hair just shoplifted some food and took off in a white truck.

8:57 p.m. Welfare check, People's Bank - A caller said someone was shining a flashlight into the building. An officer was on the way to check it out.

Dec. 7

11:38 a.m. Trespassing, Verizon Wireless - A caller said a man was staying in a tent with his dog near the business.

6:28 p.m. Warrant, Storyteller 7 - A caller said that a woman with a warrant was inside the theater watching a movie.

8:07 p.m. Loitering, Taos post office - A caller said two men were sleeping in the post office. The caller said they had left junk all over the place and it smelled like cigarettes.

Dec. 8

2:44 a.m. Arson, Sagebrush Inn - A caller said she heard a loud explosion and then saw fire behind the Sagebrush.

3:20 p.m. Animal stray, Taos Retirement Village - A caller said two big dogs were roaming around the parking lot.

7:05 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Sunset Park - A caller said some teenagers were parked at the park, possibly doing narcotics.

7:53 p.m. Suicide attempt, Bella Vista Apartments - A caller said his friend cut his wrists and was bleeding.

Dec. 9

7:35 a.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Salazar Road - A caller said a black SUV hit a fire hydrant.

10:01 a.m. Larceny, Allsup's, 507 Paseo del Pueblo Norte - A caller who walked into the police department said his wallet had been stolen at the gas station.

1:59 p.m. Traffic hazard, Subway - A caller said a piece of sheet metal was on the road in front of the sandwich shop.
