The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from Oct. 16-21.

Oct. 16

4:14 p.m. Criminal damage, Linda Vista Lane - A caller said his brother broke into his house and stole some food.

8:36 p.m. Domestic disturbance, Montoya Street - A caller said a man hit her and was destroying her house.

10:02 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Super 8 Motel - A caller said a man and a woman were walking around the parking lot checking out vehicles. The caller said they appeared to be homeless.

Oct. 17

9:05 a.m. Loitering, Super Save - A Chevy Van was parked and people throwing trash from it in the lot. The caller said the vehicle smelled "heavily of weed."

12:14 a.m. Battery, Taos Eco Park - People were screaming in the park. The caller said it sounded like someone was getting beaten up.

9:36 a.m. Criminal damage, Shell - A caller said a man wrecked into a gas pump and knocked it over.

2:32 p.m. Domestic disturbance, Bertha Street - A caller said a man in a white Dodge Ram was seen hitting his children.

6:23 p.m. Stray animal, Paseo del Pueblo Sur - A husky was running around in front of stores.

6:37 p.m. Welfare check, Walmart - A caller said a man in a green van was foaming at the mouth.

Oct. 18

12:10 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Salazar Road - A caller said someone was knocking on all the doors in the area.

2:14 a.m. Welfare check, Taos Plaza - A man was screaming profanities in the Taos Plaza.

2:26 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, El Camino Lodge - A caller said a couple went in to use the restroom and unlocked the back door of the hotel.

8:23 a.m. Shoplifting, Super Save - A caller said a woman stole some items and was caught on camera.

10:38 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Gusdorf Road - A caller said there were items thrown into a culvert.

2:33 p.m. Disorderly conduct, Baskin-Robins - A caller said two men were trying to hit the windows of the bus.

4:54 p.m. Welfare check, Baskin-Robbins - A man in a brown trenchcoat with black pants was yelling at cars.

5:46 p.m. Public affray, Domino's Pizza - A caller said two men were getting ready to fight.

9:09 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Gusdorf Road - Caller said there was a loud party in the area.

11:24 p.m. Criminal damage, Weimer Road - A caller said their vehicles' windows had been broken.

Oct. 19

5 a.m. Gunshot, Sugar Lane - A caller heard gunshots in the area. A man was later found with a bullet wound to his abdomen.

7:55 a.m. Larceny, Gusdorf Road - A caller said someone had "ravaged through" a storage shed.

8:21 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Allsup's - A caller said an "old hippie van" was parked in the lot leaving trash and toilet paper in the area.

3:37 p.m. Shoplifting, Super Save - A one-armed man and his girlfriend were caught shoplifting.

3:53 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Juan Largo Lane - A person with a blue truck was blocking the lane selling items.

5:13 p.m. Welfare check, McDonald's - A caller said a man on a bike fell over and couldn't get up.

7:13 p.m. Welfare check, Cervantes Drive - A woman wearing all black was drunk and in the middle of the road.

7:59 p.m. Larceny, Walmart - A caller said a man in a red hat and black pants was threatening to shoplift.

10:43 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Paseo del Pueblo Sur - A caller found hair and a backpack in a trash can.

11:13 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Critcher Road - A caller could hear a loud party and wanted police to shut it down.

Oct. 20

12:34 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Monterey Road - A vehicle pulled into the caller's driveway and turned their car off.

3:40 p.m. Larceny, Taos Police Department - A caller gave a ride to a woman with a walking stick and the woman stole the caller's car keys.

5:29 p.m. Stray animal, Salazar Road - Seven black and brown dogs were in the intersection.

6:08 p.m. Shoplifting, Walgreens - A man in a black hoodie and camo pants stole a bottle and fled.

6:21 p.m. Stay animal, Quesnel Street - A pack of 10 dogs was walking down the road.

Oct. 21

2:06 p.m. Traffic hazard, Taos Ale House - A caller said some cars were parked in the yellow zone.

2:19 p.m. Criminal damage, Taos Plaza - A caller said someone had keyed their Jeep.

6:29 p.m. Trespassing, Santistevan Lane - A caller said smoke was coming from an abandoned house.

9:53 p.m. Welfare check, Big 5 - A caller said the driver of a Jeep Cherokee almost ran someone over.

10:13 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Paseo del Cañón - A caller said there was a party going on and the music was loud.
