The following is a condensed version of Taos Police Department reports from Nov. 22-27.

Nov. 22

2:02 a.m. Theft of motor vehicle, Don Bernabe Garcia Lane – The caller said that someone stole a beige 2015 Hyundai Elantra with Arkansas plates. They said that the suspect must have come into the house and stolen their keys because they were missing as well.

2:39 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Quality Inn – The caller said that they could see lights flashing behind the building.

2:53 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Martinez Lane – The caller said that two men were banging on her door asking to use a phone. She advised them to ask a neighbor. The men then left.

4:34 a.m. Shoplifting, Allsup's, 1050 Paseo del Pueblo Sur – A man wearing a brown robe and pajama bottoms tried to steal two Mickey's.

5:01 p.m. Vehicle fire, Felicidad Lane – There was a bus on fire next to a car. The caller could see smoke and flames. They didn't know how it started. The bus was parked behind Albertsons near Wired Café.

10:37 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Taos Inn – A man was kicking and punching cars in the middle of the street.

Nov. 23

10:44 a.m. Law, unknown problem, Teresina Lane – The public bathrooms were locked and there were feces on the door handles.

3:09 p.m. Breaking and entering, Simpson Street – The caller said they had a break in some time during the day and a laptop had been taken.

5:54 p.m. Animal bite, Spruce Lane – A dog bit someone on the upper right leg, puncturing the skin.

Nov. 24

9:35 a.m. Welfare check, Sunset Street – The caller said their neighbors had been arguing all morning. They said that a man was threatening a woman.

4:09 p.m. Traffic accident, no injury, El Monte Sagrado – The caller said that there was a low-hanging power line along Kit Carson Road.

4:48 p.m. Public indecency, Twirl – The caller said that a male individual wearing a green bathrobe looked like he was exposing himself. He was seen heading northbound on Camino de la Placitas near Twirl.

6:22 p.m. Welfare check, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – There was a man passed out in a wheel chair in front of the new IHOP.

Nov. 25

12:34 a.m. Child abuse or neglect, Kachina Lodge – The caller said that a child, a little boy, was naked on the sidewalk.

4:42 a.m. Burglary automobile, Hampton Inn – The caller said that someone broke into his vehicle, a white 2012 Dodge Caravan.

8:30 a.m. Burglary automobile, Hampton Inn – The caller said that property was taken from his white 2016 Dodge Charger.

8:40 a.m. Domestic disturbance, Baca Lane – A woman shot herself in the head with a BB gun.

1:35 p.m. Welfare check, Cantu Hill – The caller said that a man was sitting on the median on Cantu Hill. They were afraid he was going to get hit.

2:52 p.m. Unconscious fainting, Kit Carson Park – A man was laying in a ditch by the cemetery and appeared to be highly intoxicated. There was a big bottle of scotch next to him.

5:36 p.m. Battery, Super Save – The caller said that some people in a dark green Ford F150 heading southbound shot at them with a pellet gun.

10:40 p.m. Information report, Santa Cruz Road – The caller said his wife was concerned because their vehicle had been taken earlier in the day and was then returned, but their spare key and address were in the glove box. They were requesting a patrol of the area.

Nov. 26

12:46 a.m. Domestic disturbance, Hampton Inn – The caller said that there were two women choking each other in a room. They were requesting an officer.

9:02 a.m. Criminal damage, McDonald's – The caller said that someone had shot at a window at the restaurant.

4:18 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Walmart – Multiple complaints had been filed regarding a man, who was walking around the parking lot scoping out vehicles.

Nov. 27

2:49 a.m. Breathing problems, Super 8 lobby – A man was having an asthma attack and couldn't breathe.

6:10 a.m. Theft of motor vehicle, Tewa Street – The caller said she parked her red 2015 Jeep outside. When she returned 20 minutes later, the vehicle was gone, she said.

9:27 a.m. Breaking and entering, Los Panditos – A tenant was gone for about 10 days and returned to find that their house had been broken into. There were some items missing from the home, they said.

9:39 a.m. Burglary residential, Ortiz Street – The caller said that someone had broken into a shed and a vehicle at the property.

11 a.m. Criminal damage, Paseo del Pueblo Norte – The caller said that some windows and a skylight were shot out sometime Sunday morning.

12:25 p.m. Battery, Dollar Tree – There was a man on the floor bleeding from his head, and the suspect almost ran over a couple in the parking lot.

2:07 p.m. Warrant, Walgreens – A woman was running from a man, a Walgreens employee.
