Planning Commission hears tower request

Posted

The Taos County Planning Commission will meet Wednesday (August 14) for a regular meeting to discuss the special use permit for a cell tower.

The meeting will convene in a public hearing so the public will be able to comment on the proposed tower at 24,229 NM HWY 64. According to the county’s agenda, the tower in question will be 50 feet tall and will be able to accommodate up to 36 antennae.

In addition, the commission will also hear a request for an extension on a special use permit for a lodge building.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the County Commission chambers at the Taos County Complex.
