Visitors traveled from throughout the region to Kit Carson Park over the weekend for a celebration of fiber art in all its forms. Beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, the 35th annual Taos Wool Festival was bustling with crafters and vendors selling the finest wool, fiber, yarns and tools. Visitors were invited to observe periodic sheep shearing demonstrations and the Fiber Critter Corner, with sheep, alpacas, goats, Angora rabbits and more. In addition to the sheep shearing, demonstrations in spinning, dyeing, felting and weaving abounded during the festival.
