Monday, (April 22):
Town of Taos Council workshop 4 p.m. Councilors will hear an update on cleanup efforts at Los Alamos National Laboratory supported by the Regional Coalition of LANL Communities of which Taos is a member. Workshop is at council chambers, 120 Civic Plaza Drive.
Tuesday, (April 23):
Breakfast with Rep. Ben Ray Luján, candidate for U.S. Senate, at Tiwa Kitchen, 328 Veterans Highway. 8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Hosted by Taos County Democrats. Seating is limited. RSVP through Taos County Democrats, firstname.lastname@example.org or text 575-999-1621.
The Town of Taos council will consider allowing an expanded liquor license for service on site at the Taos Community Auditorium during a regular meeting at 4 p.m. at the council chambers. The council also will consider threatened or pending litigation and personnel matters during a closed executive session with any action on those items taken in a vote during the public portion of the meeting. The Taos Arts Council will introduce Carol Morgan-Eagle, Taos is Art 2019 Banner Artist and Julia Daye, Taos is Art 2019 Banner Poet.
Village of Angel Fire council meeting has been cancelled. The next scheduled meeting is May 14.
