Monday (April 15)
Taos town council will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m.  to discuss and possibly approve a $186,963 budget adjustment in several funds involving Gross Receipt Taxes. The changes are to "cover the administrative fee of the state Taxation and Revenue Service," according to the agenda. The council also will consider a $200,000 grant agreement with the state for marketing Taos Air charter flight service over the summer between Taos and Texas cities. The Taos council also will hold a closed executive session to discuss pending or threatened litigation and personnel matters to include "consideration of complaints or charges against a Town employee." The council may then vote in open session on matters discussed in executive session.

Tuesday (April 16)
Taos County Commission
will honor E-911 dispatchers as part of National Telecommunications Week during the regular meeting, which starts at 9 a.m. at the commission chambers. The commission will make several budget adjustments and hold a public hearing regarding a fire code ordinance for the county. The commission  will vote on an agreement between the county and the employees union regarding retention pay for detention center officers. The commission also will be discussing water rights.

Taos Municipal Schools Board meets at 6 p.m. at Taos High School. The board will hear the fiscal year 2018 audit report from Brent Woodard, consider travel requests from several clubs and discuss the superintendent's contract in executive session, which is closed to the public.
