My beloved MaryLou Thalman Kersey’s 3.5 year struggle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) came to a peaceful end at home early August 14th, 2018. She had been transfusion dependent for some time and her antibody rejection of infusions had reached the level of no return. The morning of the fourth day of hospice, she slipped away from us.
She was born to Robert and Mary Lehman Thalman of Young Ward in Logan Utah on November 20th 1943. MaryLou was the eight of nine children. After graduating from Cosmetology School (1964) in Logan, she moved to Sunset, Utah where we met, married and were together for 51 wonderful years dancing, working, traveling and living the American dream.
She is survived by her husband Billie J Kersey from Bowling Green, Ky and her daughter Melissa K Cummings currently from Taos, New Mexico. She asked to be cremated and her remains scattered in the places we loved camping, hunting, fishing and visiting. There will be a celebration of Her Life Memorial in Utah at some time. Look for a FB announcement or contact Bill or Melissa for more information.
