Voters in the town of Taos only have one more week for early voting in the 2020 municipal election. 

Early voting for town council candidates ends Saturday (Feb. 29) at 6 p.m. Voters can make their way from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. all week to cast their ballots at town hall, located at 400 Camino de la Placita. Saturday voting will begin at 10 a.m.

Voters will be selecting two of the four candidates who are running for the open spots. Councilors Darien Fernandez and Nathaniel Evans will be defending their seats against challengers Billy Romero and Roger Martinez. 

Election Day is Tuesday (March 3) and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

The top two candidates with the most votes will take the seats and assume office on April 1.
