John Ernesto Medina Of Taos passed away peacefully at the age of 75. He is survived by his children, David and Viola of Tehachapi, CA. Rick and Dianna of San Jacinto CA, James and Xochilt of Yucaipa, CA., Wendy and Marcos of Taos and Mark and Trish of Rio Rancho, N.M. Grandchildren, Brandon and Brianna of Tehachapi CA, Anthony, Erik and Adrianna of San Jacinto CA, Desiree and Alexis of Taos, Ryan and Rachel of Taos, Kathryn and Brittany of Rio Rancho N.M., Raul of Santa Maria CA., Blanca of Tehachapi, CA., Liliana of Yucaipa, CA. Great-grandchildren, Alaya Adriel, Ashton, Braiden, Krista, Matthew, Michael, and Joanna. Brothers, Manuel (Susan) of Santa Fe, Michael (Liz) of Taos, Sisters Priscella (Joe) Martinez of Espanola, Bea (Loren) Maes and Patricia (Michael) Ninneman of Taos. John is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family and friends. John is preceded in death by his parents, Epimenio and Margarita Medina, brother David Medina of El Prado His wife Susan of Taos, Judy of CA, mother of his three children and Grandson Roman of CA. John and his wife Susan, owned and operated Susan's Grill. John loved designing as well as making the beautiful Furniture that he has carved. John served proudly in the Marines, as well as in the San Bernardino, CA. police department. He was also an adamant outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Most of all John Loved his Family and Friends. He will be truly missed by everyone that knew him. We Thank Heavenly Father for giving us many wonderful years to share our lives with him. A memorial service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on February 22nd at 10:00 am., followed by his burial at the Miera Family Cemetery. A celebration of his life with a reception and lunch at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. All are welcome. The Family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and Love.
