Jay Thomas Connerley - Jay died on March 15 at the age of 63 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He felt blessed to have had a long career he loved. He worked on Ski Patrol and led Bicycle tours in Vermont, started a River Rafting company with his friend Gregg in Costa Rica and had a long fulfilling career as a River Guide and then as a River Ranger with the Park Service and BLM. Jay always said his most fulfilling role in life was as a grandfather. He is survived by his devoted wife Mary Gugino, his sister Debra Kraemer (Rob), his grandchildren Gabriella, Sophia, Ava and Jack Gugino, their mother Julie, their father his stepson Paul Gugino, great friends and his extended family of Hildreth and Connerley cousins. A celebration of life is planned "down by the river" in early summer.
