Concerning the letter of the Taos Pride Board sent to Taos News on July 31 regarding the Arroyo Seco Fourth of July parade, I apologize if any were offended. Offense was neither meant nor desired. The request to move the float for Taos Pride was given to avoid the appearance of the Church endorsing a position with which we differ. Regardless of differences in belief, I am open to dialogue with anyone who wishes to understand more about this (or any) Catholic position.
