Heads Up Music in Taos hosts Record Store Day

Posted

Dust off those turntables and get spinning. 2019’s Record Store Day is alive and well in Taos.

Heads Up Music will be hosting the annual celebration of vinyl for the record community in Taos on Saturday (April 13) and plans to have a celebration lasting most of the day.

Rare and collectable records will be available for purchase and live music will take place most of the day at the store’s location at 216 Paseo del Pueblo Norte.

Record Store Day began in 2008 as a way to celebrate local record stores and the culture surrounding them. Several cities across the U.S. have even declared the day a holiday.

Head’s Up Music will open their doors at 10 a.m. for customers and the festivities will continue throughout the day.
