Opinion: Grisham makes change because she takes risks

Posted

We agree that Michelle Lujan Grisham is a "risk-taker." Her willingness to bring a risk-tolerant attitude to state government means she will have to deal with adversity. In our experience "risk-takers" are also "change-makers" and all of us react to change in different ways. We have fear, resistance, anger, joy and acceptance of change. We also try to ignore change and hope it will go away. Her willingness to reach out to those in state government, legislators in both parties, business, education and the citizens of New Mexico to explain herself, find common ground and reach for solutions has made her first six months a success and in the end will make her a successful governor for the people of New Mexico.

It has always been those who create change and take risks that make things happen in life and it will always be that way.
