Federal offices closed Wed. for Bush remembrance


Most federal government offices will be closed Wednesday (Dec. 5) to honor former President George H.W. Bush, who died Friday (Nov. 30).

The Carson National Forest offices around Northern New Mexico will be closed Wednesday and mail delivery through the U.S. Postal Service will be suspended for the day. Most other federal offices will be closed, as well.

The federal closure was ordered by President Donald J. Trump.
