The town of Taos is teaming up with Explora the Science Center and Children’s Museum of Albuquerque to bring some science and fun to the Taos Youth and Family Center.

With Taos County school science fairs just around the corner, kids of all ages can hone their skills and learn new ideas during the Friday (Jan. 24) Explora event at the center.

The free event will have 10 different stations for youth to interact with a variety of science experiments and demonstrations.

From 1 to 3 p.m. students and community members are welcome to the mini Explora event to get some hands on experience and learn some tabletop science.

Town officials said they are expecting around 200 students to join in the fun.
