Esther Casias Cameron Passed away peacefully on March 29, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband by her side. Esther was born to Pablo and Youfe Casias on June 30, 1947. She was baptized, confirmed, and married in the beautiful church of Saint Francis de Asis in Ranchos de Taos. Esther was a proud Taos High School graduate, Class of 1965, where she was a Taos Tiger cheerleader and National Honor Society member. In 1986, she relocated to Las Vegas where she was employed by Clark County as a Senior Management Analyst and where she met her husband Ron Cameron, a retired U.S. Army Colonel. When she retired, Esther and Ron traveled as much as possible. She had three favorite destinations: Italy to visit the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi and The Vatican; home to Taos to visit with family and friends, and to any new golf course where she could test her skills. Esther was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Paul Casias, and her sisters Vangie Mondragon and Gloria Ortiz. She is survived her sister Tina Pacheco, by daughters Cindy (Rick Duque) and Sandy Jeantete, along with grandchildren Tristan and Henry (RJ) Duque and Taylor Burkhead, plus dear sister-in-law Lucy Casias and many wonderful nieces and nephews and their families. Memorial services are pending.
