We'll just say it. Taos High School senior Jonah Vigil is one fast runner. So fast that he won five gold medals at the 2018 state track and field championship and took home the top honor of High Point Male Athlete for 4A schools. It was the second year in a row the young man took home that honor.
In honor of his fleet feet and his record-shattering strides, Vigil was named New Mexico's High School Male Athlete of the Year by the New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame, another first for Taos.
Congratulations to this Taos star.
