Congratulations to the UNM-Taos 2020 graduates!

You did it! You completed your spring semester courses under unconventional circumstances, and you fulfilled the requirements needed to earn your certificate or diploma from the University of New Mexico-Taos.

The COVID-19 pandemic required us to make the difficult decision to create alternative plans for the spring graduation ceremony. We wish we could celebrate your achievement face-to-face. However, that doesn’t diminish how proud we are of all of you!

For those of you earning your certificate or associate degrees, I wish you continued success. Despite the current situation, I am confident that the investment you have made in yourself will better prepare you and situate you for the future. If you are planning to transfer to a four-year program, I encourage you to reach out to your university of choice and to continue that pathway.

For those earning your High School Equivalency (HSE), we expect to see you enrolled in a UNM-Taos certificate or degree program this summer or fall. The current crisis requires us to do some old things in new ways, but we are still doing them – so that you can continue pursuing your educational goals.

Above all, regardless of your next venture, I wish all of you and those you care about continued success and good health.

Go Lobos!
