The following is a condensed version of Taos Police Department reports from Sept. 27-Oct. 2. 

Sept. 27

8:33 a.m. Criminal damage, Calle de Oro – The caller advised that a woman had broken their windows.

9:12 a.m. Medical unknown, Coyote Club – A man had fallen and hit his head.

10:31 a.m. Larceny, Valverde Street – The caller stated that someone had stolen her purse.

11:44 a.m. Fall, Chevron – The caller advised that there was a male in his 20s who had fallen and was not getting up.

12:36 p.m. Larceny, John Dunn parking lot – A woman reported that a bag had been stolen from her vehicle.

3:18 p.m. Law, unknown problem, Quality Inn – The caller saw two men arguing and was concerned that they were about to fight.

6:42 p.m. Agency assistance, Mariposa Lane – A child reported that his mom was molesting him. He said that when he gets into trouble, she locks him in his room and doesn't feed him.

8:16 p.m. Disturbing the peace, 803 water tank – There was a driver in a Jeep racing around the water tank.

9:11 p.m. Alcohol offense, adult, McDonald's – There was a man locked inside the bathroom.

10:05 p.m. Domestic disturbance, Paseo del Pueblo Norte – A man had gotten into an argument with his brother. He said he was concerned because his brother has access to knives. The caller was afraid it might get physical.

Sept. 28

2:16 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Loma Parda Apartments – A man was outside a residence and looking in. When the tenant starting calling 911, he fled the area.

9:31 a.m. Trespassing, Taos Academy – A man in a 1976 Ford flatbed was on the property throwing trash. The caller said he was asked to leave and started getting mouthy. He was still parked in the area.

11:03 a.m. Harassment, Wendy's – A man reported that another man made a gesture at him as if threatening to shoot him.

1:51 p.m. Traffic accident, injury, Valverde Street and Ranchitos Road – The caller advised that a black Pontiac had been in an accident with another vehicle. The airbags on one vehicle were deployed and a man was bleeding from the face.

1:59 p.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Calle del Sol – The caller advised that a vehicle driven by a woman had gone through a fence. The woman was walking around and appeared to be OK.

3:06 p.m. Welfare check, Community Against Violence – The caller advised that a man in the area appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

4:57 p.m. Civil complaint, La Lomita Road – The caller advised that her neighbor has been doing some construction for the last five months and said that the workers continue to go onto her property, hit her carport and make ruts in her yard.

6:42 p.m. Welfare check, Camino de la Placita – The caller advised that she found a man, who was bloody and disoriented.

8:39 p.m. Be on the lookout, Casa Valdez – A dark Ford truck was seen doing donuts and was headed toward the alley.

Sept. 29

1:40 a.m. Disturbing the peace, El Camino Lodge – There was a party on the second floor on the south side of the building.

3:47 a.m. Welfare check, Quality Inn – The caller advised they have been getting a lot of break-ins and had seen a suspicious silver car.

8:28 a.m. Animal abuse, Dolan Street – A man was seen beating a little brown dog.

8:54 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Enos Garcia Elementary School – A knife was located on campus.

9:11 a.m. Larceny, El Camino Lodge – The caller advised that he had let a homeless man into his room. The man stole a firearm and a jacket from the caller.

9:13 a.m. Breaking and entering, Kachina Lodge – An elderly man with white hair had broken into a room through a window.

9:39 a.m. Prowler, Loma Parda Apartments – The caller stated that she has been terrorized by predators in the area. She said that one of them had broken into her house. She wanted to speak with an officer.

1:09 p.m. Harassment, World Cup – The caller stated they had been assaulted by a female business owner.

8:13 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Taos Post Office, 318 Paseo del Pueblo Norte – The caller advised that two homeless people were inside the post office.

Sept. 30

12:02 a.m. Domestic disturbance, Allsup's (south) – A man and a woman in a red station wagon were punching each other.

2:27 a.m. Shots fired, Kit Carson Road – A man said that he was shot at from either a white Dodge or a champagne Chevrolet Tahoe near the free parking area.

3:12 a.m. Traffic stop, Placitas and State Road 68 – A law enforcement officer reported they were flagged down regarding a vehicle rollover on State Road 68 south of the stakeout.

3:59 a.m. Theft of motor vehicle, Teresina Lane – The caller advised that his 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe had been stolen.

8:52 a.m. Citizen assist, The Alley Cantina – The caller advised that her keys had been taken away from her at The Alley Cantina and handed over to Taos Police Department.

10:13 a.m. Disturbing the peace, World Cup – The manager of a different business went into World Cup and started cussing and causing a disturbance regarding people parking in his business' parking spots.

4:09 p.m. Larceny, Camino de la Serna – The caller advised that they live in front of an apartment, where they suspect drugs are being sold.

6:49 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Salazar Road – A white truck was mud bogging in the gravel pit at the Salazar extension.

9:11 p.m. Shots fired, North Plaza – The caller advised that his truck was shot at during an incident the night before.

11:21 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Padre Martinez Lane – The caller reported that a fight was going on in the area.

Oct. 1

11:15 a.m. Trespassing, The Coffee Spot – A woman in the shop did not seem to be in a "right state of mind" and was harassing people.

1:09 p.m. Assault, Camino de la Serna – The caller advised that officers should be sent right away because they and other individuals were being threatened by two people with firearms.

7:06 p.m. Overdose, Taos Post Office, 318 Paseo del Pueblo Norte – A man wearing a black backpack was passed out. There was a needle next to him. He was still breathing.

Oct. 2

6:17 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Albertsons – The caller said he was approached by two women, who said they were picking up cans behind the building and found a tote with screws in it. The women said it smelled like something was dead inside.

6:56 a.m. Harassment, Taos Middle School – An email was received from a parent who had been making threats to someone at the school.

8:25 a.m. Law, unknown problem, Enos Garcia Elementary School – The caller said they received a threat on Facebook from a parent, who was threatening to go kill people. The caller said this has happened in the past.

12:26 p.m. Welfare check, Walmart – The caller advised that some people were driving recklessly in the parking lot.

3:39 p.m. Animal stray, Walmart – The caller advised that some people were selling puppies in the parking lot.

7:18 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Don Fernando Street – There were some kids on top of the roof of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Gymnasium.
