The girls team placed sixth out of the 14 teams competing. They were led by freshman Grace Goler's two state-qualifying swims in the 50 and the 100 freestyle in which she placed second and third.
Senior Ashley McMains also garnered valuable points for the girls with third place finishes in the 50 freestyle and the 100 backstroke. With the addition of 8th graders Aricela Chavez and Maye Montoya, the girls 4x50 and 4x100 freestyle relay teams swam the best times of the season, placing sixth in the 200 and third in the 400.
