Taos High School isn't the only school in the area getting back on the field, court, diamond, track, pitch or course. Questa High School is competing again this year in various sports after a long break due to the pandemic.

So how are the Questa High School Wildcats faring?

Volleyball

The Questa High School volleyball team has become the dominant force in its district. With nine victories and only two losses, the team has ascended to the top spot, edging out rival Escalante thanks to the magic of "win percentage" ("Pct." in the chart.) The team will take a three-game winning streak into Mora to face the Rangerettes on their home court on Saturday (Oct. 9).

With seniors Annaliese Rivera (who has raked up an impressive 52 kills this season), Leah Martinez (with 48 Aces), and Araceli Gonzalez (61 receptions and 33 digs, both well above the national average) the Wildcats will hope to take the championship home later in the season.
