A winter storm brought fresh snow to Northern New Mexico on Thursday (Jan. 16) and local ski resorts were among those who received it.

Taos Ski Valley gained 24 inches in the past 24 hours and now has 64 inches of snow at its base.

Sipapu Ski Resort also received 7 inches in the past 24 hours and has 31 total inches recorded at its base.

Angel Fire Ski Resort received 4 inches of snow in the past day and has 33 inches at its base.

Red River Ski Area received 4 inches, too, and has 37 inches at its base.

As of Friday morning (Jan. 17), all runs are open at Taos Ski Valley as well as 13 of 14 lifts. Most runs and lifts are open at Sipapu, Angel Fire and Red River, as well.
