The Taos Baseball League had its first official game of the season Sunday (June 9). Both Taos teams, the Taos Blizzard and Taos Lightning were in blue, a necessity for now while the league grows and makes plans for new uniforms.

Families watched as the teams played on the Taos High School field on a perfect late spring afternoon. The environment was friendly, with several players reiterating that everyone is welcome to play.

Though the game was tied 4-4 for several innings, when asked what the score was after the game, at least one player couldn't remember.
