Arroyo Seco Live invites everyone to come to the village and experience the last artisan Makers Market of the year in the new Seco Space this Sunday, October 10, starting at noon. There will be artists, vendors, food, libations, as well as a new lowrider on display, as part of the Low and Slow exhibit. At 4:30 p.m., there will be free live music featuring Taos Pueblo’s own PO.10.CEE, Native American bluesman CW Ayon, and Danza Azteca de Anahuac in celebration of Indigenous People’s Day. Thursday, Oct. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Stables Gallery at the Taos Center for the Arts, 133 Paseo Del Pueblo Norte, there is an opening exhibit of art from the private collection of Günther Nachtrab the owner of Atelier 751, a contemporary art gallery opened during the 90s. The exhibit includes prints from artists with a Taos connection, national and international artists. A percentage of all sales from this exhibit will be donated to the Taos Center for the Arts.
The Harwood Museum is presenting a fall online auction of art, experiences and offerings to raise funds for the museum from Sunday (Oct. 3) to Saturday (Oct. 9) each day from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. More than 70 pieces will be auctioned off; pieces will be ranging from $75 to $40,000 in value.
