Randall Lumber & Hardware recently celebrated their 100th anniversary. The family-owned business welcomed vendors with new and updated products, and customers who gathered for food, live music, and the camaraderie that naturally evolves from 100 years of doing business in a small town.

Tucked in the quaint community of Arroyo Seco on the way to Taos Ski Valley is a new face in the community of merchants. Marigolds boutique had its official ribbon cutting ceremony on May 15. Bright yellow and orange marigold blooms propagate in the garden leading to the shop. Hammocks, that are for sale, hang on the shady porch while Adirondack chairs offer respite from the sun. The building that now houses Marigolds was most recently occupied by Francesca's. Originally it was the official Post Office for Arroyo Seco. The structure was built by Abe Garcia, of the infamous Abe's Bar and Grill, who celebrated his 98th birthday this year.
